This application is for made for collecting vegetation distribution data in the field. This application aims to make it easier to compile species lists and associate them with characteristics of a specific site (GPS coordinates, slope azimuth, altitude, etc.) than it would otherwise be using a notebook. The data is organized in a way that makes it easy to upload into a mysql database.
Pictures can be associated with both taxa and sites and can easily be transported with the rest of the data to a computer. Users can see where theyve already established sites (based on longitude and latitude) and where they currently are in relation to them.
Although intended primarily for botanists (professional and amateur) this application could easily be utilized by other biologists or life science enthusiasts.
